Hello:
I've noticed that when you are working on a VI, you can happily undo as many steps as you want (OK, it depends on the undo steps in your configuration), but, when you save the VI, the "undo steps queue" is deleted and you can no longer undo. So, if you suddenly detect that you did something wrong, but you have just saved the VI, you have no way to go back.
This is a problem specially for people who, like me, has learned over the years to save as often as possible so you don't lose any information and work because of energy failure, blue screens, system crash, etc...
Why are the undo steps deleted after a save?? I think it's unnecessary

It seems NI agrees with you. Check out the status of this idea - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Enable-quot-Undo-quot-even-after-saving-the-VI/idi-p/9...

Hello tst:
Thanks for pointing out that idea! Yesterday I reviewed the Idea Exchange but didn't found that one... It's already on LV 2011 Beta!
Thanks!
Robst.
