Which version to install - LabVIEW 32-bit or 64-bit

I would expect that LabVIEW 2024 or 2025 will be definitely 64-bit only as has been the case for LabVIEW for Mac and LabVIEW for Linux since 2017!

My guess is closer to 2030.  There are a lot of people to convince to move to 64-bit before just dropping 32-bit completely.  NI even said it would not be a sudden change.

We'll see! I'm definitely not going to hold my breath for it. 😁

But 2030 definitely sounds to far away. 😎

They have pretty much discontinued anything they couldn't or don't want to port to 64-bit. Development will be in 64-bit only and as long as the sources still build for 32-bit it may stay supported but once there starts to be even the slightest hobble to get it to build for 32-bit the axe will fall for sure.

Perhaps... Although one might have said the same about 2023 when this thread was started. 🤣
