The NI 6534 is not a counter board, and has no counters on it. It is a digital I/O board. It uses the NI-DIO chip for the majority of its control and timing. It contains a 20 MHz oscillator to hardware-time digital input and output operations, which can be configured as any integer divisor of 20,000,000.
