What is it?

Paul posted a VI that recursively turns off auto grow.

Makes sense.

It just turns off auto-grow on all structures.

It's a VI.  Use it to open the VI causing the problem.  Adjust the VI, correct the size (make it smaller), then close and save.

Could someone post a LabVIEW 2018 (or earlier to help others) version?

Just a new note to this thread,

Found that when using monitors that are 1080P and 32 inch 4K in the same machine.  Was able to create the issue where some of the block diagrams or Front panels in a project would not display. They would display just find when using only one display at either 4K or 1080P.

But not when 1080P and 4K display was used at same time, like I was needing to do. This issue made it so I could not edit the project so it required resolution.

Cause was the selection of what monitor and where the VI should go to when started up or commanded to be displayed.

When had the main monitor to be the 1080P and the 2nd monitor to be 4K, the issue would occur very repeatedly for certain Vi's,

Solution:

Make the main monitor to be the 4K display. After that all VI's (Block and front panel) displayed just fine on all monitors.

Maybe NI as fixed this on new versions. but this is how my LV 2020 operates.

Hopefully this will help someone.

Paul
