What About MS Visual Studio.Net

How do the LabView people feel about Microsoft's Visual Studio.Net. This can
be used with TestStand I hear.

I don't like to be forced on a single platform. Labview (and Matlab and
other tools we use) exist on Windows, Linux/Unix, and partly Mac
platforms. Microsoft's tools exist only on Windows.

You are closing doors if you start depending on these tools. IMHO.

Hi

Has anyone ever tried using measurement studio libraries with Mono framework ? Is it possible to develop code using measurement studio in mono framework so that it is portable ?

Thanks

Charu

Hi Charu,

At this time, Measurement Studio is not supported for Mono on Linux.  Measurement Studio has not been tested for use with Mono.  It may be possible to get Measurement Studio running with Mono, but not without a lot of modification and customization of Mono.  As we have not tested this, we are unable to guarantee if Measurement Studio will work with Mono.  If you feel that this is a feature that you would like to see in the future, please feel free to submit a product suggestion on our Product Suggestion Center.
