Hello,

It sounds like your application is filling the message buffer.  There are ways to reduce the amount of data sent and frequency with which data is sent when using remote front panels, as each time your application requires a panel refresh, there will be a corresponding update required over the network to your remote view.  The following document has more information on this matter, and hopefully it will help you get around this problem:

Developing Remote Front Panel LabVIEW Applications

I hope this helps!

Hello,

Sorry that didn't help.  I know the document wasn't written specifically for 8.0, but the principles still apply.  Could it be your browser or network connection?  Post any additional information you have and we'll try to make progress!

Best Regards,

Hello,

Ok, that could be it then.  Hopefully using some of the guidelines will help then, to reduce the amount of data that needs to be published to the web!

Hello,

Are you able to try this on another network?  It sounds like you've paired down your front panel as much as possible, but if you post your code in a hardware-independent form (which still reproduces the problem) I will take a look to see if I can reproduce the problem and overcome it.

How do I correct this Discussion Forums Message Subject from "Wed server" to "Web Server"?

Thank you.

Hi everybody,

I need to monitor the Labview 8.0 stand-alone.exe file that running on Server computer from another computer (client) with Network. I have try and test many time with Web Server from Labview 8.0, and I found that Web Server not so easy to used and control. Sometime the program can access successfully, sometime the program only access in one second and lose connection immediately. Some computer successfully accessed and some computer totally cannot access.

Anybody knew the proper way to use or set the Web Server in Labview 8.0 with stand-alone application .exe file? Is this related with Internet setting, Network setting or Firewall setting? How?

Or, somebody have another good idea for this Networking issue. (Other method instead of Web Server to run and display a program in computer B exactly same as the Labview 8.0 program running on computer A.)

Thank you.
