Hello, I am new to LabVIEW so it might totally be my inability to actually use LabVIEW.
But right now I am using Windows XP and LabVIEW 6.1 and I was following the steps for allowing other computers access your VI and control it. My problem lies in that when I follow all the steps, and I click 'Preview in Browser', it will give me
http://laura.atmosp.physics.utoronto.ca/00temp00.htm
From what I know, I go into Tools => Options... => Web Server: Configuration => Enable Web Server with HTTP Port at 80 => Ok
Also Go to both Web Server: Visible VIs and Browser Access and put both as ' * ' and allow viewing and controlling.
then when i typed "http://127.0.0.1/.snap?Temperature+System+Demo.vi" on URL then it would show an image of my vi and of course i can change it to 'monitor' instead of 'snap' and it worked as well.
Then I went ahead and Tools => Web Publish Tool... => Pressed 'Preview in Browser' and it would give me that error as I posted above.
I then thought maybe if I save it to disk first, it would work. So I saved in www folder tried again and it still did not work. Preview also still doesn't work.
Possible Fix I have tried:
1. I downloaded all the plugins they requested
2. Tried both firefox and Chrome
3. Changed URL from ' * ' to some xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and it still did not work
4. Made sure Port 80 is open and theres no firewall blocking it
I have 0 idea/suggestions left in me to atttempt to solve this problem, so I was wondering if any of you guys can assist me. Any form of help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi Tony383838,
Have you tried with Internet Explorer? Where you're working with an older version of LabVIEW there may be some compatibility issues with the other browsers. Also, there's some good information on the web publishing tool on this forum. Look it over and see if there's anything helpful there.
Let us know if you have more questions.

It look like you've posted the same question on this thread:

I would also recommend creating a new thread with your question in the future, rather than creating a new post on an old thread.
