Web publishing tool, I can't show the panel in embedded mode.

I don't know what happen but I have try every thing and still without the possibility to make a preview of my VI in the "web publishing tool" and also can't show the panel in embedded mode.

I can see the preview in the browser but it remain forever "downloading panel" and nothing more else happen.

Please help me because I don't find any explanation to this problem in Google.

Additional information:

1) I am using Labview professional development system 8.2 under Windows XP SP3 (it was the same under SP2), also in vista ultimate.

2) In the attachment I show that I'm using Mozilla Firefox but is the same problem under IE.

Has the runtime engine been installed on whichever computer you are viewing the web panel on?

It it hasn't, then it goes out and looks to download it and install it.  That can take a few minutes.  It is also possible that the firewall would be blocking that behavior and it never downloads.

Is not a problem with the run time engine because as I explained the problem began in the web publishing tool and it is in the same machine were I have the web server running and the labview installed, that's why I think also that is not a problem with the firewall, but anyway I disabled the windows firewall and the problem was the same,

Does anyone think that the nod32 v.2.7 antivirus could be blocking the labview?

Finally I answered to myself, I uninstalled the nod32 antivirus and I can see and control the front panel remotely but still don't see any preview on the web publishing tool.

I think that you are wrong, because I have try the labview  online and always see a preview but also it make sense because that's why the preview exist.

I don't recall ever seeing a full preview either.  So I did an experiment.  See attached.

When I first called the Web preview, nothing was previewing.  I then noticed that the top dropdown box said Select a VI, so I did.  Once I did that, the FP showed up in the preview screen.

Ok, but as you can see in the image that I attached above, I already selected the VI named "tt.vi" and anyway there is not any preview.

Hi ganc,

Does this problem occur with any VI, or just this specific one?

I got the same problem in LabView 8.0.1.

I have turned off the antivirus Avast 4.8 and now I can see the panel in the browser.

Thanks you.
