WANTED: workaround for error in fontmgr.cpp line 1023 when loading LV 6 VIs

Hi,
when loading existing VIs from LV6 with our new LV7Express the program (running under Linux 😎 crashes with an error in fontmgr.cpp line 1023.
Is there a workaround?

Hi dieter,

there is normally no workaround for internal LV errors. Report the error through the support pages to NI. Together with your VIs they will be able to fix the problem.

Hi Dieter,
A CAR has already been filed on this issue. This error is related to the font size/style. Try changing these attributes under a system where you can open it (another OS or a different version of LabvIEW) and see if that helps.

Hi,

the crash is related to problems with e. g. the ISO-8859-15 charset which is used with for some non-english locales. The workaround is to use the standard ISO-8859-1 charset. How to do this depends on the Linux distribution you are using.
