We have a large number of test systems with LabVIEW 2019 installed and we've been having issues with VIs and LabVIEW built EXE files locking up for a period of time while they are in use. At first we assumed this was because of something in the programming of the VIs (and it still might be) until today when it seems like our Volume Licensing server is having some problems and it's making the delays much worse. If I go into the NI License Manager and remove the license servers (which forces LabVIEW to run on a trial) then the delays go away completely. I always assumed the only interaction with the Volume Licensing server would be when LabVIEW first opens or when the drivers first load but this makes me feel like it's constantly trying to communicate with the licensing server. We could probably generate disconnected licenses for every system and run that way but I would like to understand what is happening first.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any explanation for what is going on here?
