The configuration I have is manual, but I do not know why do I have to train LabVIEW again, when I go further away. I trained the app at a close distance, but when I go further away, I have to train LabVIEW again. Why is this?

Based on my experience a little size and rotation variation is tackled by labVIEW. As you can see the spacing of the letters decreases once you move the object

So what you are saying is that Labview recognizes theletters through the OCR, until a certain distance, without requiring to be trained again?

That entirely depends on

1. The font

2. The spacing

3. LIGHTING

and these are not only for labVIEW but for all the OCR/OCV softwares that I have used
