Visa read error -1073807313

I get a Visa read error occasionally with the above error number. Any ideas on why it is happening?

The error description is:

"VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF002F) You must be enabled for events of the specified type in order to receive them."

What function is returning this error?.

Can you taka a spy capture and attach it to you post. Check the follwing tutorial on NI-Spy:

You can enable logging in the Spy menu >> Options.

Was this resolved? I am having the same problem when I repeatedly read/write to an RS232 port.

I'm getting the same error sporadically from a VISA Read.  Any ideas?
