Hello,
For some reason I have no visa functions like visa write or read. I have install NI-VISA and NI-VISA support for labview but still nothing.

You have given us very little information to help you. Please tell us:

Invoke Quick Drop on the Block Diagram to show the efunctions, not the front panel.

Nice catch! Yes, those are the front panel objects, not the block diagram ones!

To be honest, that is the first time I have used QD, I even had to Google the KB shortcut to invoke it.

I actually let myself be talked into a "challenge of the Champions" during NI Week several years ago. Needless to say I wound up in a put-up or Shut- up code show down. I do not remember what the challenge was. I do remember my fellow Champion (she of Delacor, who shall remain nameless) blowing my concentration by saying, "He's not using QD!...OR AUTO TOOL!!!!"
NO, I have never been comfortable with either. I always figured that my code would be better by intention than by speed. OTOH, I have made use of templates.
Darren may argue all that he wishes. But I will always come down on the side that supports thought over speed. Even if I think slower and more intentionally, how much development time can QD or ATOOL save in a proper development process that includes documentation, testing, and code review? Not even 1/10th of a percentage in developer hours. STBU but, those are just "showy features" that really weren't worthy of the efforts of an intellectual as smart a dnatt.

When working it probably doesn't make much difference as most of the time is thinking and planning anyway. But when implementing an idea i prefer QD as i don't remember where all functions are hidden and some have moved between versions but the names stays the same.
As for auto-tool, i can never remember the order and have to tab through all twice-thrice to get what i want, or i can hold the auto-modifiers or if needed shift-r-click and select the right one. 🙂

And this, ladies and gentleman, is how a joke turns into a flame war.🤣
