View Labview Items In Memory without a project setup

Hello all,

I have been learning on calling VIs dynamically and was wondering if there is a tool to view what VIs have been loaded into memory and their states. I know if I setup a project then in the Dependencies there will be Items in Memory which contains all VIs loaded, but most of the time I don't have a project setup.

I checked out VI Hierachy menu, it didn't seem to show when dynamic VIs were loaded. At the very least, I would like to see, say if I open the front panel of 5 VIs (not in run state), then the tool should show the names of those 5 VIs.

Thank you !

A project won't help you there, either.  I don't think it can show dynamically loaded VIs, either.

I am pretty sure that Items in Memory of a project will show dynamic VIs. As I would look in there if a dynamically loaded VI got "stucked" and didn't exit properly.

All I was looking for is a tool to view what VIs Labview has loaded in its memory..?

Have you tried the Property Node App.All VIs in Memory?  Drop a Property Node, choose Application, and look for All VIs in Memory.  Does that do what you need?

If this is not what you're looking for, it's a good tool in itself and you can modify it to your need.
