Variation in acquired sine wave frequency generated within Multi-Function-Synch AI-AO Example

Hello all,

 

I am building off of the Multi-Function_Sync AI-AO example (https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-26326) and I have discovered a strange occurence.  The output waveform is the default 10Hz sine wave.  I noticed that the acquired sine wave frequency deviated from 10 Hz.  From the table shown below, it appears to be a function of the AO "Update Generation Rate."  The table was derived from the default output waveform.  I ran the VI on two separate hardware configurations and saw the same results.  I then recreated the acquistion parameters listed in the table below in Signal Express for each piece of hardware and all of the acquired sine waveforms were 10 Hz.  As I said previously, I will be building off of this example VI so I would appreciate an explanation of my observations before I proceed.
