VISA Problem

Hi all,

I have tried to start with VISA, at this time serial communication
(COM-Port).
At first i´ve put a VISO open to the diagram then i´ve tried to connect a
resourcename constant and that´s the problem.
LV say something about differend classes... i´m a little confused...
What may be the problem???

try ASRL1 in lv5.x and ASRL1: in lv6

type is INSTR

hmmm....
the constant will not connect.......
when i touch the wire = (connection: class conflict)

Hi,

try following.. after placing the VISA open change into wiring mode, right
click at the Resource in terminal and select create constant.
Now you can select the resource you want's to use.

Take a look at the examples. They'll show you what's expected.
