VI for impact hammer vibration test

Hi there,

I'd like to write a simple vi to gather impact test data. Hardware is one modal hammer, and one accelerometer. I would like the vi to trigger off of the hammer, then collect the data from both the accelerometer and the hammer, calculate the frequency response function (acc response divided by hammer response in the frequency domain), hold that data in a buffer, then average it with the next 5 impacts.

Have you seen a tutorial or sample code I could use to get started? I'm using a USB-9162 to acquire the data. I have Labview 7 and the Sound and Vibration toolkit.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Karen
