Using two Dataq at once

Hello, Im trying to use Two different DI-2108 Dataq instruments at once. One to record the Voltages and the other to record the Currents. However, When I try to run it the system seems to get confused and only records data from one of the DI-2108 instruments. And when I check the Windaq dashboard it says that only one of the Instruments is active. I can get it to record the data for only one device at a time. Any suggestions one what I can do? here are some images of two different methods I have tried
