Using sub-VI's

I am trying to link in some information into a sub-VI that was already created.  I am taking over an old VI and I need to link something into the sub-vi.  Thanks

Can you edit the sub-vi?

If so, simply add a control in the sub-vi which handles what you want to pass to it.  Add the control in the connector pane of the sub-vi.

You can then wire whatever you want to pass to the sub-vi from the calling vi.
