Using niFgen to create square wave with defined pulse width

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I am trying to create a square wave that:

1.  is confined to the positive region only. In other words, it has no mirrored negative component below the zero voltage line.

2. has a certain pulse width

For # 1, I think I've achieved this by setting DC offset to half the amplitudes value... this works right?

For # 2, I can't find a direct property node value for pulse width, so I'm trying to play around with the "duty cycle high" property. By calculating the percentage of the period it would take to achieve the desired pulse width, I believe this approach will work.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I think both of your solutions should work just fine.
