Using data from dymamic data wire

Using DAQ Assistant, the data I am collecting is coming out in a dynamic data wire, which is being written to file. However, I need to use some of that data to control the loop that the DAQ Assistant is in. Is there a way to break out the data from this wire and use it as, say, a double or something along tose lines?

You can use the "From DDT" Express VI to convert the DDT to the datatype you are looking for.

You can use the convert from dynamic data (From DDT) function available in the signal manipulation group of the Express pallete.
