We currently use the basic built in source code control, provided in LV 6.1, to control projects consisting of hundreds of vi's. I'm considering using the NI recommended Perforce option to upgrade our SCC capabilities. Any comments about Perforce would be appreciated. For example, does Perforce work in conjunction with the built in SCC? Will my existing built in SCC "upgrade" to Perforce? Is Perforce easy to use. What is the relationship between NI and Perforce, is it actually supported within LabVIEW in any manner? As you can see I know very little about it! Any opinions our comments would be appreciated.
