Using Matlab R2008a from LV 8.5.1

I have been using Matlab R2007b with LV 8.5.1 with no issues. Today I installed Matlab R2008a and uninstall Matlab R2007b. LV failed to communicate with the matlab server with error code 1047. Also, putting Matlab script in front panel will no longer open the Matlab command windows. Matlab runs just fine, and there are no Java error codes in the TEMP directory (no memory issues).

Does anyone successfully use Matalb R2008a?

Hi dotan,

I don't have a copy of the R2008a revision to test with, but it sounds like you may just need to re-register the MATLAB® activex components.
