Upgrading LabView

Hello 

Is there a way to upgrade my LabVIEW version ( 2015) to 2018 without having to buy a license. Thanks in advance 🙂

I'm pretty sure the answer is "No", but you might call up your NI Sales Rep and ask ...

The correct answer is maybe but not very likely!

When you buy a LabVIEW license, you have the option to also buy a LabVIEW Standard Support Package (SSP). One year is standard included but you can choose for up to 3 years and at the end of it you get normally a mail from NI if you want to extend it. During the active SSP period you have the right to upgrade your software to the latest released version.

So if your employer did buy SSP and did keep it active until now you are entitled to upgrade to 2018 without extra costs, otherwise you have to call NI and ask about upgrade possibilities, or go and check here with your serial number.
