Is there a way to upconvert an executable or view the VI if I have all the files associated with it?
I would like to view the block diagram of the VI and make modifications in LV9.0.1.
Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.

You can't upconvert an .exe or view any block diagrams as the BD's were all stripped off when the code is compiled into an .exe.
If you have the original .vi files used to make the .exe, then yes, they can be upconverted to the latest version of LabVIEW. But the zip file you posted does not show any .vi's.

Unless you have the original VIs with their block diagrams, you don't have all the files. Without those, there is nothing you can do. Building an exe removes the block diagrams and while you can view the subVIs by changing the exe to llb, you cannot open them, upgrade, or edit.

That's what I expected. Thanks all for your input.

Hi tk003,
it really would help to give us VIs with a block diagram. When the block diagram is stripped you cannot convert a VI the a different LV version...
Tried to mass-compile using LV7.1, many error messages were shown...
