Uninstalling LabView causes flaky behavior

I installed a LabVIEW 8.6 evaluation copy on my Windows XP machine in October 2008.  I tried in out for a little while, but I recently tried to uninstall it.

Now whenever I boot up, I get the message: "An installable Virtual Device Driver failed Dll initialization....".  Then I get the message: " MONITOR: Can't find Agent 'BitWare NT Agent' Class 'WCNtAgent' "

Can anyone advise me?  Thank you.

Don

<Set tounge-in cheek mode = VI_TRUE>

One fail-proof method:

  • Buy a current version of LabVIEW
  • Install it
  • See your local sales rep and ask for LabVIEW 8.6
  • Install it too
  • Wrote code that does EVERYTHING you need it to
  • -Have Fun

a search on the forrum for "uninstall"Yields This as a top hit

Good Luck!

That doesn't sound like a LabVIEW problem.

Google "bitware nt agent", other people have had that same error message and have claimed to be able to fix it.
