Unable to Change the DAQ Card Interrupts Manually

Hi,

I am using 2 PCI-6071E DAQ Cards and one of them has the same interrupt as a Vibration DAQ Card. Everytime I try to run Vibration with the DAQ card that is sharing the same interrupt, the computer would reset after a little while. I tried to change the DAQ card interrupt manually in Windows (98) Device Manager but it would not let me. I get a Windows popup message that reads "This resource setting can not be modified"

Since this computer system was configured and supplied by the Vibration DAQ Card Vendor, I would prefer not to swap any cards unless it is absolutely necessary.

Hi,

I am not sure if this problem is happening because of the sharing of the same IRQ because usally PCI devices share interrupts and I can see them sharing the interrupts in my computer. One thing to try is, if you see the problem without having PCI-6071E in the computer. That will give an insight into the problem. Next is to put the 6071E in a different slot and see if that helps.
