USB 9211 Plotting problems

Hello:

Running a VI using a USB 9211 thermocouple module read ever second within a while loop and plotted over a 4 hour period.  The plot is beautiful, until I start a second VI that uses (2) DIO-96 PCI Cards that scans 80 lines every 3 seconds.  The temperature plot then occasionally jumps to the 25 C junction temperature value and then back to the correct value.  Any ideas how I can prevent this from happening?

Just a couple of things to try and narrow down the problem:

- When, you start the USB vi, then start the DIO vi and then stop the DIO vi, does this behavior continue to occur in the USB vi?
- When you say occasionally jumps to 25C. Is this every few seconds or hours? Could you please give me a better idea of this?
- Does this happen if you have both vis integrated into one vi (both segments running in parallel)?

Hello:

The Jump to 25 C last 3-5 seconds and happens only when the DIO VI is running.  If you stop the DIO VI the temperature plot is smooth and steady.

A couple of other things to see if we can detemine wether it is a HW or SW problem.

What do you see, when you run the DIO vi and a test panel (in MAX) at the same time for acquiring temperature? Also, what happens when you run your Temperature vi and a DIO test panel? Please let me know. Thanks!
