Transferring changes in the PLC to LabView

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

we are using LabView 2020, TIA Portal 15.1 and the SP7 toolkit for the automation of a small chemical plant.

New components (already added in TIA) are to be added to an existing automation program in LabView.

Is this done via the VI SP7_LabView_to_SPS (attached) and if so, how? Or is it done via a different VI?

Thanks in advance for help

Hello,

yes, this VI will write values to the PLC (to be more exact: probably, there are a few sub-VIs missing).

It is up to you to change this (or other VIs) to your new requirements.

Regards,

Jens

Hello,

thanks for the reply.

So i just add the elements to the cluster and make the appropriate references?

Sorry for the late reply, depending on the changes you made in the PLC your idea might be sufficient.
