Transfer old code to new LV version

Solved!
Go to solution

We have a lot of cRIO real time applications developed in LV 2011 and Windows 7.

Customer plan to replace old computers with new ones using Windows 10.

We definitely need new LV version.

Can we just copy old code to new LV version?

Thanks

Hi sorsakoira,

Can we just copy old code to new LV version?

Yes, conversion from 2011 to 2018 is (usually) no problem.

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi sorsakoira,

don't forget to create (safe) backups before conversion.

(Or even better use a SCC system…)

Best regards,
GerdW
