If this is such a problem for you, then create a script that if you right click on the terminal in the block diagram, or if an object is selected on the front panel, it will move it to the origin. You can create a quick drop shortcut for that so once you place the terminal, a Ctrl Space Ctrl-whatever will move it into view.
