Timezones, UTC, CET, IST

Solved!

Hello All,

I am working on a project that involves displaying the current time. I used the tool Get Date/ Time in Seconds to display the time. But when I change the time zone from UTC +5:30 (Indian Standard Time) to UTC +1.00 (Central European Standard Time) the current time always displaying the IST.

Is there anyway to change the timezone from IST to CET?

NOTE: I have already tried changing my time zone in my computer.

I have attached the photo for your reference. 16323107002997988715282264381694.jpg16323108289602980391483866048007-min-converted-compressed_page-0001.jpg

Any ideas?

Regards,

S. Karthik

I guess you need to change the time zone before launching LabVIEW (or the executable program).

Paolo is correct, LabVIEW will take the time zone of your system, but only once at the start of LabVIEW.

So:

- change time zone on your computer - do not run LabVIEW during this !!!

- make sure your computer time has changed to the new time zone and time settings.

- now start LabVIEW.

I just checked this on my system, it works.

Thanks to Paolo and Jens it worked for me. I restarted my computer and changed my timezone and I closed and reopened once my LabVIEW. It is now displaying my current timezone.
