Hopefully my description is precise enough to avoid the need for a wiring example to demonstrate the question. Given a timed loop with a software triggered timing source (one iteration per trigger), and a software triggered timing source firing at some frequency, how does a timed loop behave if its iteration time is greater than the period of the software trigger? Does it simply iterate continuously because it's "behind", or does some timing-related error occur? Thanks for any help you can provide.
