I can`t open the .vi.
I`m using Labview 2010.
Would you please convert it and reattach it?
Thank you!

not a problem. I'll even back convert the silver FP objects so it doesn't look funky in 2010

Thank you Jeff!
I`ll try to integrate your code in my .vi.
Hope it helps for my problem with time stamp on the x-axis.
Have a nice day!![]()

It should be mentioned that it is totally unnecessary to convert to timestamps in order to display on an XY Graph.

Why do you think so? Do you have a differenet idea? I mean how could I read at what time a particular process took place if I don`t convert it to human readable?

What makes you think that an XY Graph's input has to be 'human readable'? It can just be a numeric. The graph will display it as mm/dd/yyyy etc if you configure it correctly.

Yes you are right but I have tried this before and the x-axis started form 1904. How can I configure it correctly?
Obviously I`m doing something wrong. Do you have an idea?

A value of 0 would translate as 1904. The VI you posted is not parsing the csv file. Where did you find that code to read the file? Why don't you simply use the Read From Spreadsheet function with a comma as the delimiter and %f as the format?

Hello guys!
Dennis,I have modified my vi. Now I`m using Read from Spreadsheet as you told me. But I still get the year 1904 as a starting point for my x axis.I’m not using anything to make it read the timestamp yet. Now the graph is showing correctly, but my problem is the timestamp. What do I have to do to get the time from column 1 in csv file on the x axis? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Closer,
The first row it column headers- you can through them out then its just a matter of seleting the correct graph (XY Graph) scaling the csv time to LabVIEW time and formating the axis display.
