Time Delay missing after I upgraded

Solved!
Go to solution

I just updated my LabVIEW from 2017 to 2020 (32bit only).  When opening my project and main vi, I am missing all my Time Delays and have to go in and manually place them.  Is this a bug or is there something in the install that I didn't do correctly?

What are "time delays"? Are these primitives from the (timing) palette or a subVI you wrote?

How did you "update"? Typically you would install 2020, and 2017 would stay in place until you uninstall it.

Were there any errors during install? Did you reboot?

Yes, the Time Delay function in the Timing Palette.  I used the NI Package Manager to update from 2017 to 2020, the install seemed to go very smoothly and I did reboot.

Since I wrote this, my coworker opened up the main vi and did not have any issues, I opened it and the issue is no longer present.  I am sure the operator (me) did something strange but seems ok now.
