Labview 5.1 Full development ( or higher ) has two built in functions called peak detector and threshold peak detector that should
both do the job. They are located under the signal processing/measurement function. I believe they were located under
Analysis/Additional Numerical Methods in older versions
I do not have the base version to know if it is available in that package.
The VI's are in chapter 47 of the Function and VI reference manual.
