Thermocouple type L

I didnt find L TEDS (chromel-copel thermocouple) in Measurement & Automation 4.6 version. I tried to use custom scale (table),
but I faced with problem: when I entered table values in volts (~10E-6), but my task in Measurement & Automation raised error - he said that it has a repetition values. But it hasnt. I think all problem in a small order of values.
Anyway, Is there patch or something like that, which adds this type of thermocouple to MAX?
Or may be you know how to solve problem with custom scale?
Or you know how to make it works with L thermocouples by other means?
I appreciate every help. Thanks.

hi,

i don't know what the thermocouple L is (chromel-copper? that's something between a T and a K ?!) but LView has V to T and T to V functions for many thermcouples based on NIST data tables. Look for your thermocouple there..

hi, thanks for your answer - i'll try to solve this problem via LView. But your reply got me a new idea: maybe L type of thermocouple is obsolete name of other thermocouple type (maybe J?) and it may be replaced by this type. So I just should choose in MAX modern type and it will be suitable for L type. Is it right?

This paper states in Note 3 that  type L behave like type J.

Possible to check it at some known temperature points?
