The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way

I started getting this error today after I uninstalled Fieldpoint Explorer 3.0.2.  I reinstalled it and it went away.  I saw a few other posts regarding the error being caused by other things, and editing the registry to make it go away.  I'm posting because I'm just kind of curious of the circumstances of this particular error.  Anyone have any eggs of knowledge to crack on me?

Did you try deleting the LabVIEW.ini file after uninstalling? If it's related to LabVIEW trying to load pallete's that are no longer there this may help. Also, did you try repairing the LabVIEW installation?

I did not do any of that stuff.  I just reinstalled Fieldpoint Explorer.
