TestStand paste button greyed out

Teststand Paste button grey out sometimes and recovers after a while(several hours)

It means there's nothing to paste. This is how Windows works.

Not really,
I copied sequence step before paste. Even I tried to do the same in Sequences tab-I mean copying sequences. In both cases the paste button(mouse right click & Edit->Paste) becomes grey. I'm unable to paste after copying.
This issue gets automatically resolved after several hours. I tried restarting PC but it is not helping. I feel like some floating license issue.
Btw, I'm able to add(drag and drop) new steps from the insertion palette.

Maybe you could've included that in the original post.

I see that you've posted to the TestStand forum. I hope you have better luck there.
