TestStand - Get Property Value VI not working under Windows 2008 Server R2

I've encountered an odd problem with a DLL file (LVPaletteSupport.dll) used by the TestStand palette in LV.

I work on TestStand 2014 and LabView 2014 both installed in 64 bit versions on 64 bit machines. On my local PC, under Windows 7 64 bit everything works fine. Problems start, when I move all my projects to our soon-to-be build server, that is a virtual PC working under Windows 2008 Server R2 64 bit - the said polymorphic VI (TestStand - Get Property Value.vi) is not working and reporting as broken: it fails to load the said DLL file, the detailed description states:

The library specified for this node cannot be found or cannot be loaded. Right-click the Call Library Function node and select Configure, then choose the correct library name or path.

So I've tried to check if the DLL is okay, copied it from other machines - nothing better; I've tried to register the DLL in the system:

The DLL may not (be) compatible, but as far as I have checked the TestStand 2014 (is) compatible with Windows 2008 Served onwards.

Does any one have any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I would love to know how to make it tick, before I will reinstall the whole bundle.

Hello nikodem,

can you try a newer Version of TestStand?

I have attached the DLL from my system, it is LV 2016 and TS 2016. You can try replacing the DLL to see, if this fix the behaviour. Please save the original DLL before.

best regards
Alexander
