Tabbing order in tab controls

Hi!

How can I set the tabbing order of buttons placed in a tab control? I seems
to me that it is only possible to set the tabbing order for controls placed
outside the tab control.

I you got a tip please let me know.... 🐵

Hi Thomas,

I believe you are correct that you cannot change the tabbing order of tabs in a control.

Work-around:
Drag control off the tab.
Set the order.
Put them back on the tab control.

I did not say the work-around was pretty or easy!

Popup on the border of the tab, or on the tabs. At the bottom of the
menu there should be an item for Reorder Controls in Page... that does
just what you want. I'm looking at LV7, but I suspect it has been there
for several versions.

Hi Ben!

Thank you for your tip!

I have asked my local National Instruments support hotline the same question
and they gave me this answer:

Right-click the tab (which contains the page name) of the tab control.
Select "Reorder Controls In Page...".You are now able to set the tabbing
order for the active page of the tabbing control.

I hope my explanation makes sense.
