TPA81 for thermal mapping on Dani robot

Hi,

I would like to use the TPA81 thermal array on dani robot for thermal mapping and obstactle avoidance. Also, the digital IOs are compiled for communication between sbRIO9631 and the thermal sensor, which means the FPGA on sbRIO must be used for DAQ.

Meanwhile, starter kit 1.0 subvi. are quite useful for locomotion control so I intend to add some of these VIs to my program which is the revision of the Devantech TPA81 Thermal Array(FPGA) VI. from Robotics Example.

A frequent error occured at niFPGA_Open_sbRIO_9631 vi. and the code of this error is 61202. Labview FPGA showed: the operation could not be performed because the FPGA os busy operating in FPGA Interface mode. Stop all activities on the FPGA before requesting.

Can any one help me with that? And any suggestion would help indeed.

Hi Jason,

Please accept my apologies for the delayed response.

I have a few questions/suggestions regarding your setup which should help us identify the cause of this:

- Do you have multiple 'Open FPGA VI Reference' functions in your host VI?

- If so, are these opening references to VIs or bitfiles? Could you ensure that these are both pointing to the same VI/bitfile

- Could you confirm that you are using the 'Close FPGA VI Reference' function for any references opened?

Would it also be possible for you to post your host VI for us to look at?
