TDS1012B Timebase Issue

Hi everyone,

I am measuring the switching time of a relay (including bounce time) and is about 3 to 8 mS.  The attached vi works fine when scope's timebase is set at 10ms.  However, when I change the timebase to 25mS then the scope stops working, it doesn't provide a waveform as it does at 10mS setting.  Please see attached pictures (and code).  Could someone help me why this is happening?  Is it a limitattion of the scope or do I need to make other scope setting changes?   Thanks very much,
