TDMS File Viewer limits, maximum rows in a table?

Hi,
With Labview 8.21, I'm using TDMS to log large data arrays and histograms, (18 bit ADC histogram of codes etc). TDMS handles these quite nicely and my reader vi works fine. However it would be nice to use the TDMS File Viewer for debug from time to time to check all is well etc. For large amounts of data, (although my reader vi has no problem retrieving the correct data), the table doesn't display any values and the graph is also empty.
      This brings a few questions:
1. Was is the maximum rows the table can hold, is it limited to 65536 as excel 2003?
2. The TDMS toolbar if used excel 2007, will this read for example 262144 rows be displayed in a single worksheet or will it put them in new ones once they go over 65536?
3. Will/Are larger table control/indicators handled in later Labview Revisions?

Thanks!

Hi ds_1,

If you want to view very large TDMS files, it could be more suitable to make your own with fewer features so that the application is a bit quicker. The TDMS Viewer VI appears to have trouble with larger files but I've put together a quick example that reads 70,000 entries from a TDMS in around 5 seconds. I'm attaching the program for you; perhaps something like this would be more suitable?
