TCPIP IO QUESTIONS

If an incoming TCPIP packet has a CRC error will the receive msg VI even process the incoming packet or will it just be ignored?  I ask this question because I am sending packets from another maching and monitoring the msgs with Wire Shark which shows me that the msg packet has a faulty checksum, but the packet does get an ACK msg back:  the LabVIEW receive msg VI does not seem to decode the data in the msg.

Yes CRC alone cannot ensure proper checksum. See this

The checksum has no effect on the VI, endianess was the problem.
