TCP communication and Remote Panel programming

Hi,

I had installed the LabVIEW runtime Engine and tried to web publize my application. I am able to do that and see the preview and also run the program from here. After that when I give the URL and try to access the web page, on the same computer( server), I am getting the following error:

'Requested VI is not loaded into memory on the server computer'.

Also the URL link gives a ' page not displayed' on any other computer in the server domain'.  Please advice,

Also whats the difference between DSC Run-Time Engine and Run-TIme Engine. I have LabVIEW 7.1, do I need the DSC version to control my application remotely.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for pointing that out!  When you run the installer, it actually says that it's installing the LabVIEW 8.0 Run-Time so I am fairly certain that the webpage is inaccurate.  I will point this out to the appropriate people 🙂
