Error 63 occurred at TCP Open Connection in Open_To_Try_2.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: Serial port receive buffer overflow.

LabVIEW: The network connection was refused by the server.

does this work with both vi's on the same machine ??

Let me back it up little bit with my application.

I want to create a TCP/IP connection by using 2 different PC with 2 different IP address. On one side I want to create a TCP OPEN, and the other side I want "LISTEN". I just want to see how does LabView do it. So I have set up a 2 VI's on each machine. One with Open TCP/IP and the other side Listen TCP/IP. Is the way should I do it?

what i do on my server is save the connection id(s) from the tcp listen and use them to communicate between the 2 programs on seperate PC's

Ok, I think I am not making any connection here. Can you write up a example with a TCP Open and TCP Listen and send a VI file to me? I have been looking at the Simple Data Server.vi but I do not think I need a client in my application?

what version of LV are you using ?

Well, in fact you do. The Listen function is in the application which is
the server and the TCP Open function is in the application which is the
client. That is how TCP/IP works with a client on one side and a server
on the other.

I do consider the Simple Data Server.vi/Client.vi a good example of how
to do TCP/IP communication. Although I think once you start to do real
client/server comm
unication you will be better of implementing something
along the lines of the Date Server/Client.vi and Data Server/Client.vi.
