System identification

Hello everybody!

 

I would just like to get some opinions on how you would carry out a system identification of a linear brushless DC motor.

 

What kind of stimulus signal would you choose and why? 

 

I'm tried with a chirp swept sine stimulus and is nowhere close to getting a model that fits the data.
