Thanks, I managed to eventually track it down and install it.
Just today I realised that NI has changed it's policy with respect to model numbers for Flex-RIO cards. Several versions of the same card (with different size FPGAs) are all listed as the same model number.
I wonder how many people are terribly surprised when they order something and wonder either
1) that the price is much different than they thought or
2) their FPGA target has significantly less or more fabric than they were expecting
In the past, even a different speed grade of FPGA warranted a different Model number.
And when I tried to find the version of Flex RIO required for LV support..... where to find it? Specifications for the card? Nope. My colleague had bookmarked a web page where it was listed, but not linked to from any of the resources discoverable from the product page. NI's website is an absolute joke.
