Synchronising 2+ cRIO Modules

Good day,

I have an NI-9775 Digitiser Card and an NI-9262 Analogue Output card.

How do I synchronise these whilst using FPGA User-Controlled IO Sampling?

I can synchronise them currently using the IO Nodes but I need to access the faster update rates that both offer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would probably get a digital IO module and make one of the cRIOs be the master that sends a clock and/or start pulse to the other cRIO and use that as the synchronization.

Ah apologies I didn't explain myself clearly.

I meant to say that I want to synchronise the two operations (AI and AO) within the same cRIO.

Obviously with I/O nodes this is done through the backplane but I understand that to achieve the maximum update rates for both of these operations I need to use FPGA User-Controlled IO Sampling. What I don't understand, and can't find documentation on, is how to synchronise two FPGA User-Controlled IO Sampling operations such that they are guaranteed to occur simultaneously.
